Medical Attendant Job Vacancy at CCBRT, Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves – as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes – the community and the most vulnerable. Committed to prevent lifelong disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs. Since 2005, CCBRT also provides community and centre based rehabilitation services from the “House of Hope” in Moshi, promoting inclusive development at all levels.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Medical Attendant to support our clinical team at the rehabilitation centre in Moshi
The role
As medical attendant you will provide support to health care providers at CCBRT Moshi and client support under supervision. You prepare the clinical working area, ensuring that working tools are in place and in a good working condition.
You transport clients, equipments and supplies between the units to optimize the patients’ flow withiin CCBRT – Moshi. You provide health education to clients and guardians. You manage visiting hours and client relatives to ensure client’s safety and well being.
The candidate
- Form 4 certificate plus one year basic nursing training/certificate in social welfare from a government recognized Institution.
- A minimum of 1 year of working experience
- Flexibility
- Multitasking
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Good communication skills in English and Swahili
- Has a pro-active attitude and eagerness to work
