
Kitomondo Secondary School is located in Mafia District, Coast Region. Transportation to Mafia Island is available from the Mwandege Bus Station in Mkuranga on the main road toward Lindi Region. A bus ride to Nyamisati in Kibiti District costs Tshs. 7,000. From Nyamisati, a boat to Kilindoni-Mafia is available for Tshs. 20,000. Local transportation on the island includes a bajaji (fare of Tshs. 4,000) or a motorcycle (fare of Tshs. 2,000) for the 3-kilometer journey to the school.
For air travel, flights to Mafia operate from the JK-Nyerere International Airport, Terminal 1, with a fare of Tshs. 160,000 from Dar es Salaam to Mafia. Flights are available daily.
Students can report to the school at the student affairs office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for further guidance.

- Two long-sleeved white shirts or blouses (loose, not fitted) made of Tetron fabric; two long hijabs for Muslim students.

- Two pairs of white socks.
- Blue collared T-shirts (form six style).

Boys
- Two dark blue trousers with standard Tanzanian design (two pleats at the front).
